Safe stay in Croatia – National label of safety
The safe stay in Croatia label is a national designation of security protocols in tourism. It is awarded to businesses in the tourism sector by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. TASTE AND SAIL CROATIA is assigned with the safety label of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) Safe Travels and the national safety label Safe Stay in Croatia. Safety labels guarantee that TASTE AND SAIL CROATIA team follows global safety guidelines and hygiene protocols.
The safety of our guests and our team is our main priority. Taste and Sail Croatia adheres to guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), Croatian Institute of Public Health (CIPH), The Croatian Tourism Association (HUT), and European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).

The video materials present the safety protocols that meet the guidelines of the Croatian Institute of Public Health and the World Travel and Tourism Council. They include all tourism categories – accommodation, nautical, food and beverage, tourist attractions, tourist guides, agencies and information centers, events and conferences, transportation, and sports and recreation.

The WTTC created the Safe travel label in 2020 to assist travelers in identifying destinations and companies worldwide that have adopted global health and hygiene standards. Croatia has been displaying this label since the beginning of the COVID pandemic.
Compliance is checked at three levels. A periodic and unannounced inspection of the implementation of safety protocols is carried out by representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, professional associations in tourism.
